Atasha Jordan
Co-Chair

Originally from Barbados but now residing in Bucks County, PA, Atasha is a first year medical student who graduated from Harvard University in 2013 with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. Atasha enjoys working in underserved communities to promote health and education equality.

Claudia Gambrah
Secretary/Recruitment Co-Chair

Originally from Ghana but now claiming Texas as home, Claudia is a first year medical student. She graduated from Washington University in 2013 with a degree in Biochemistry and Spanish. Her medical interests include pediatrics and global health. When she isn't studying, Claudia enjoys being outdoors, photography, and traveling the world. She is excited for the opportunity to work with SNMA as Recruitment Chair this year!

Camille McCallister
Community Service Liason

Camille grew up in Dallas, in the great state of Texas. After graduating from Howard University in 2012, with her degree in Biology and minor in Economics, she began studying public policy at UCLA. In 2013, Camille's adventures carried her across the Pacific Ocean. At the University of Auckland in Aotearoa (New Zealand) she studied kaupapa Māori (indigenous research methodology) and public health while on a Fulbright Fellowship. Through medicine, she is interested in community health and empowerment as well as health policy. When not studying, Camille enjoys running, trying recipes, drawing and exploring Philly's arts scene.

Ezinnem Ugoji
Community Service Liason

Ezinnem Ugoji graduated from Rutgers University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. Her interests include women’s health, community health, youth development, research and academic medicine. In Ezinnem’s free time she enjoys engaging in do it yourself projects, alternative cooking, and exploring Philadelphia.

Nick Seranio
Academic Co-Chair (AMP Representative)

Nick is a native of Southern California who graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Neurobiology. Outside of SNMA, Nick serves as the chair of Urology interest group. He hopes to use urology as a way to tackle medical and social disparities affecting black men. You can find him on most days listening to music, being cold, or making puns.

Dorothy Charles
Social Chair/Media Correspondent/Website Developer

Originally from Guam but now residing in Oregon, Dorothy is a graduate of Princeton University, with a degree in Molecular Biology and a minor in Neuroscience. Her medical interests are in primary care and community health. When she isn't studying, Dorothy enjoys exploring Philly's amazing food scene, playing the guitar, and watching movies with friends.

Ezekiel Richardson
Co-Chair

Raised in Miami, Florida, Ezekiel is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology. He is interested in neurology and emergency medicine. When he isn't studying, Ezekiel enjoys watching movies with friends, trying new foods, and cooking.

Sanford Roberts
Treasurer

After growing up in the fine town of San Antonio, Texas (Go Spurs!) Sanford is now a first year medical student at Penn. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and remained at Stanford during his gap year doing medical education research. His medical interests are in surgery, particularly ENT, Neurosurgery and Orthopedics. When he isn't studying, Sanford enjoys playing basketball, cooking and skiing/snowboarding. 

Ashley Nutt
Community Service Liason/DISAC Liason

Ashley is a native of Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a degree in  Biomedical Sciences. Her interests include global health, health policy, and community education. She hopes to focus in Internal Medicine. In her free time, Ashley enjoys hiking, relaxing in the park, and exploring Philly's food scene. 

Ivy Maina
Recruitment Co-Chair

Ivy was born in Nairobi, Kenya but spent most of her life in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada. She graduated in 2013 from Princeton University with a degree in Psychology and is now a first year medical student. She's interested in global and women's health and is considering a specialty in  OB-GYN. Outside of school, Ivy enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, cooking and watching TV. 

Yohannes Ghenbot
Academic Co-Chair (MAPS Liason)

Yohannes grew up in a small town south of Chicago, later moved to Minnesota, and eventually Maryland where he attended the University of Maryland College Park. He majored in Physiology and Neurobiology. Currently, Yohannes is interested in surgery. When his head is not in the books, he enjoys volunteering at the United Community Clinic, exercising and playing sports, and going out with friends in the fun city of Philadelphia.
